A little about Mario

Mario López is the founder of SORNU, art director, graphic designer, teacher, and
music producer. His work lies at the intersection of branding and contemporary culture,
understanding brands as systems that communicate, influence, and take
a stand.


His approach combines conceptual thinking, creative direction, and a strong artistic and communicative sensibility
. The goal is not to produce more, but to design better and with greater
intention.


SORNU was born as a response to an exhausted traditional studio model. Closer to culture than to generic marketing, more critical than complacent. Mario’s work is aimed at brands, projects, and people who understand design as a positioning tool, not as a simple aesthetic finish.
